Global Services Bulgaria and UNWE Unite Efforts for the Future of Young Talents
We are pleased to announce that Global Services Bulgaria AD has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the University of National and World Economy (UNWE). This important document was formalized by Chief Executive Officer Martin Naydenov and Executive Director Mariana Georgieva, together with the Rector of UNWE, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov.
This partnership opens doors to closer collaboration with the academic community, benefiting both the students and our company. We will work actively with UNWE to inform students about internship opportunities, public events, and current job openings. In addition, we will organize presentations and seminars to showcase the work of Global Services Bulgaria and introduce our future colleagues to the real business environment.

Enhanced Academic Interaction and Practical Experience
Our cooperation includes the joint development and implementation of projects, exchange of publications and statistical data, as well as the participation of our representatives and UNWE lecturers in lectures, conferences, and consultations. All of this aims to strengthen academic interaction and provide new professional opportunities for students. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todor Todorov and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irena Markova from UNWE have been appointed as operational coordinators for the implementation of the memorandum, ensuring the effective execution of our joint initiatives.
As Martin Naydenov, a UNWE graduate, emphasized:
“I’m excited because I graduated from this university, and I can say that a lot has changed since then. Besides theory, it’s very important for young people to get hands-on experience—to engage with the material in practice. In this regard, I believe such joint activities can truly support the enthusiastic ones. Business needs capable and knowledgeable individuals.”
Mariana Georgieva added:
“Our employees are mostly young, and we see the opportunity to prepare them for large companies. We decided that if we reach out to young people at an earlier stage and build such a partnership, we are willing to take the commitment to help them develop business habits. Together with you, we are ready to train students who want to work with us.”
With this agreement, we lay the foundation for a long-term partnership that combines UNWE’s academic expertise with our real-world business experience. Students will gain access to practical training and professional internships, while we gain the opportunity to prepare our future workforce starting from university. All of this contributes to strengthening the university–business connection and creating a sustainable platform for growth and innovation—core values for Global Services Bulgaria.
We look forward to the fruitful development of this collaboration!
